Hey Rick,
Got back from Texas at some crazy hour last night. Have not talked to you in a while, obvioulsly much has transpired. We are excited about St. Pauls and the church and everything. Cannot believe it is just a few weeks away! Get to pack a shipping container…yay.
I read the discussion on Keller and the artilce from CT. Good stuff. My sister gave me a pile of his talks at Christmas…and he did one on sexual addiction and sexual issues in the Post mod arena. He actually used a clip from the Oklahoma musicial…”I am just a girl who cant say no” great story to show how sex is used to the point of addictive behaviour on both the female and male sides of things. Thought it may be good for the sex series coming up.
Talk to you soon hopefully. Lots to pack still.
Chris
Thanks Chris. Can’t wait for you guys to get hear! I think the support we’re receiving from the Anglicans here is incredible, and this type of cooperation – financially, spiritually, and organizationally – is a good sign for the future.
Any chance you can email me the articles by Keller? The seminar is only a few days after DeAnn arrives, so I will have to have most of it done by then.
I really don’t know who will be coming. It will be a multicultural group that will include very conservative cultures as well as more liberal, postmodern ones. It will also include conservative Christians and completely unreligious.
We’ll talk soon.
Rick
